Register For Our Classes

At Insight, students work at their own pace and are encouraged to attend our program over multiple consecutive sessions. To facilitate continual study, we offer priority registration to our current students for the upcoming session. Any spaces still available after current student registration ends will be offered to new students on our website, two weeks before the start of the next session. Add your name to our email notification list and we'll let you know when new student registration opens on our website. If available, new student registration is on a first come-first served basis.  Session lengths vary but are approximately 8 - 10 weeks. Tuition is calculated at $40 per class, multiplied by the number weeks that meet during that session. Kids classes include supplies.

Make Up Classes / Flex Class for Kids

For Kids: We offer every student enrolled in our kids classes one "flex class" per session.  Schedule your flex class anytime during the session to make up for missing a class, or to attend an extra class using our online calendar. Flex classes can also be shared with a friend who does not yet attend Insight, ages 8 to 17. Flex classes are not transferrable, and cannot be used for tuition credit. Flex classes do not accrue, and expire at the end of the session, or when a class is dropped. Flex classes must be scheduled online, ahead of arriving at the studio.

For Adults: Make up classes are limited to one per session except with director approval. Make up classes cannot be used for tuition credit.

Studio Policies

Covid 19 / Illness: Insight Fine Art Studio will follow guidance from the CDC on masking, and at this time masks are optional at the studio. If there is updated guidance from the CDC, we will adjust our policy accordingly. Please do not attend class, or send your child to class if they are feeling sick. Please mask according to CDC guidelines when returning to class from a Covid-19 illness.

Storage: Currently enrolled students may store in-progress art work at the studio. Art work is stored at the student's own risk, and the studio is not responsible for damaged or missing artwork. 

Seating: All seating in our adult classes is on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating rotates in kid's classes, but is generally assigned seating.

Before and After Class: Please arrive promptly for your class, no more than 5 minutes before the start of class. We ask students to begin cleaning up approximately 5 minutes before the end of class to ensure that the studio is ready for the next group.

 

Insight Fine Art Studio maintains policies to ensure a safe and supportive educational environment. We reserve the right to refuse registration to any student that is deemed to be dangerous or disruptive. 

Refunds and Credits: At Insight Fine Art Studio, your experience is important to us, and we want to make sure you and your child feel comfortable with our program.

For first-time students, if after your first class you decide the program isn't the right fit, we’re happy to offer a refund for the remaining classes in the session. Just let us know within 24 hours after your first class, and we’ll take care of it for you! After that period, our standard refund policy will apply.

Our standard refund policy is as follows:
Once registration is completed, you can choose to receive either a credit or a refund if you need to drop the class. We kindly ask for 5 days' notice before the first missed class to be eligible for a credit or refund. Please note, there is a $50 admin fee for refunds to cover processing costs. Refunds will be issued using your original payment method.

Classes cancelled by Insight for any reason will be credited toward your next enrollment, or students can schedule a make up class if they prefer. Students not continuing their enrollment in a future term will be refunded for classes cancelled by Insight at the close of their current term.

There may be a price difference for students switching days mid-session based on the number of class meetings. Any balance due must be paid at the time the student switches. Any credit due will be issued as either a credit toward your next enrollment or scheduled as an additional class if space allows, according to the student's preference.
