What if we need to miss a class?
A: Each of the students in our kids class get one flex class per session. Use it as an extra class, to make up for a missed class, or bring a friend. Scheduling your flex class on our website is easy, simple and convenient!
Ages 8 to 18
From the youngest artist, to those preparing a portfolio for high school or college, our program gives kids the skills to draw and paint beautifully. Through age appropriate projects, kids gain the tools to draw and paint with confidence and accuracy.
Once A Week
Classes for kids are one and a half hours and meet once weekly. You can join anytime. In our multi-level classes, kids get personalized, one-on-one instruction in a group setting. All art supplies are included in our Kids Classes!
Our Approach
We teach the fundamentals. Our kids classes begin with drawing, as students work with pastel, charcoal and graphite while learning representational drawing skills. When ready, students progress to painting in watercolor, acrylic and oil paint, learning technique and color theory along the way.
Every Artist
Our supportive and encouraging teachers work one on one with each student. Kids gain confidence and learn to draw accurately as they are introduced to concepts such as proportion, alignment, and measurement techniques. Students also learn to represent three dimensional form by using shading and rendering techniques in their artwork.
